Bank of America is seeking a Global Commercial Banking Healthcare Market Executive (ME) to maintain and grow our industry-leading market share. The Transformative Healthcare segment serves public and private healthcare companies, generally with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. The segment maintains a leadership position within the industry and manages numerous syndicated and capital markets-agented transactions.
The Market Executive (ME) functions as the market leader with responsibility for revenue and profitability, developing and executing the market and client strategy, client satisfaction, coaching and inspecting the Client Management Process, and hiring and developing top talent.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Reports to the Healthcare, Technology, Financial Sponsors & Restaurants Executive.
- Manages a team of Relationship Managers and Commercial Associates as well as coordinates all client activity across the bank.
- Responsible for strategically allocating resources in the market to deliver growth and outpace competitors.
- Direct accountability for the allocation of Relationship Managers and collaborates with the market leadership team.
- Manages the team's pipeline of deals and facilitates hand-offs between members of the client teams.
- Enhances team performance through effective recruiting, coaching, development, and performance management activities.
- Integral member of the HTSRA leadership team and develops strong relationships with business leaders and key support partners.
- May lead or participate in enterprise projects or initiatives with Management Operating Committee or Board level visibility.
- Expected to be the “face of the bank" to the business community within their market.
Success Measures/Metrics
- Growth in business as measured by number of clients, products per relationship, loan balances, deposit balances, core and investment banking revenue.
- Returns on business, including revenue growth, efficiency, net income, client assets.
- Client satisfaction.
- Employee satisfaction.
- Contributions to larger business outside direct scope of influence.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics:
- Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 15 – 20+ years of experience in Commercial Lending, with some Healthcare sector knowledge a plus.
- Proficiency in Capital Structure and Investment Banking products.
- Strong understanding of sales organizations and sales processes.
- Demonstrates strong teaming behavior that creates win-win solutions that build trust.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and acts with speed - able to achieve results quickly.
- Communicates crisply and candidly.
- Must obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 63 & 24 licenses within specified timeframes.

Pay Transparency details
Pay range: $250,000.00 - $325,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set.
