A prominent international law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), master repurchase agreements, and warehouse facilities, representing issuers and sponsors in structured finance transactions.
Location

Duties
- Represent issuers and sponsors in residential mortgage and consumer receivable financing transactions.
- Manage and advise on structured finance matters, including RMBS, ABS, and related financing facilities.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of attorneys on complex financial transactions.
- Provide strategic counsel on structured finance deals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Draft and review legal documentation related to structured finance transactions.
Requirements
- Experience in structured finance law.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong interest in structured finance and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Prior experience at a peer law firm handling structured finance matters preferred.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the D.C. Bar, or eligibility for waiver.
Skills
- Expertise in structured finance transactions, specifically in RMBS, ABS, and related financing structures.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
