Minimum Requirements:
- Book of Business. Minimum book of business - $600K
- Must have an Entrepreneur Spirit
- 5 Years experience in IP Litigation: Trademark and Copyright
- Entertainment experience with focus on the Production side
- Case Management and Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of litigation strategies for intellectual property cases, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Ensure the strategy aligns with client objectives and legal standards.
- Client Consultation: Advise clients on IP-related legal issues, risks, and litigation strategies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of junior lawyers, associates, and paralegals. Delegate tasks, supervise work, and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality legal work and professional development.
- Litigation Oversight: Direct the preparation of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs. Oversee discovery processes, depositions, and trial preparations. Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations.
- Business Development: Generate new business opportunities by networking, building relationships, and showcasing expertise in IP litigation. Contribute to the growth and profitability of the firm through client acquisition and retention.
- Legal Research and Analysis: Stay updated on developments in IP law, including recent case law, regulatory changes, and industry trends. Analyze legal issues and case precedents to inform case strategies and legal arguments.
- Settlement Negotiations: Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations on behalf of clients, aiming for favorable outcomes that align with client interests.
- Ethics and Compliance: Ensure that all legal practices and strategies adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain high professional and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to clients on case status, legal developments, and strategic recommendations. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
