Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting space domain mission applications. The selected candidate will be working with a classified large-scale enterprise application using web technologies, distributed computation and storage frameworks, and sophisticated, cutting-edge domain analytics, with the system hosted on virtualized and cloud-computing platforms. The successful candidate will have the ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as engage with a team to achieve overall project objectives.
Essential Functions: The selected Software Engineer participates in a team in implementing DevSecOps methodologies into an Agile software development environment. •Collaborating and leading with other engineers to plan, design and develop the DevSecOps environment that includes cohesive CI/CD pipelines. •Supporting the entire Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on build and release management via automation •Analyzing continuously the DevSecOps environment for technical and process improvements (e.g. integration of security measures, faster security and software updates, improved automation, reduced glitches, and software failures, etc.) •Maintaining the deployed system, deploying updates and fixes, investigating, and resolving technical and network issues, providing technical support to end-users as needed •Promoting DevSecOps as a team culture The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical talent with desire to continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies. Qualifications: Active TS/SCI security clearance + consent to CI Polygraph. - 9+ years of experience with Java development Exp with Angular 4+ front-end web application platform and PrimeNG UI components or similar web framework. Exp with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS Exp with cloud technologies such as AWS or GovCloud Exp with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks Exe integrating, testing and deploying software applications to operations Strong oral and written comm skills, incl direct customer contact - B.S. degree SE, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline - Knowledge or familiarity with space Systems highly desired - Expe with Docker containers - or Kubernetes Exp with Spring Boot framework - Exp developing SW using the Agile/Scrum methodology - Ability to work with an engaged customer to gather requirements and feedback - Ability to work in a team environment with a willingness to learn and grow trade/ root cause analysis
