Genesis Medical Center is looking for a locum NP/PA to provide PRN coverage! PRN: Monday-Friday; 8a-5p clinic and/or day call(to include one hour unpaid lunch) Could be one-week coverage for vacations or specific dates Call rotation: 1:4 Reason for need: to help cover shifts on a PRN basis Practice Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health, Hospital Consults Average number of patients per day: 10-15 Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent - Geriatric Total number of beds: 28 adult, 8 adolescent Child/adolescent ages to be seen: 8-17 Ages 8+ PA will be working autonomously Supervising Physician present during assignment: YES, in some instances, the psychiatrist is remote via telehealth EMR: Cerner Level III Trauma Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days Disorders Treated: Mood Disorders Psychotic Disorders Substance-Related Disorders Anxiety Disorders Personality Disorders Delirium, Dementia, and Cognitive Disorders Life Cycle and Adjustment Disorders Childhood Disorders that Persist into Adolescent and Adulthood Somatoform and Factitious Disorders Required Duties: Diagnose Performing Admission Histories and Psychiatric Assessments Performing Physicals Performing Rounds Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Studies Prescribing Medications Managing Ongoing Care Through Consultation with the Psychiatrist Ordering Referrals Administrative Duties Coordination of Care Addiction Education/Management Rates needed for submission: Orientation Hourly Holiday Overtime Holiday Overtime Nightly Call (weeknight call coverage) Holiday Nightly Call On Call (Daily) (weekend call coverage) 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate Call Back Holiday Call Back Conversion Fee (***K cap) *Please Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.
