Join our brand new 24-bed inpatient unit and be a part of our expansion as we add an additional 24 beds Position Details: - Specialty: Behavioral Health - Location: Grand Forks, ND - Shift: days, 40 hours per week, full-time - Pay range: $70,792-$88,490/year - Sign-on bonus: $5,000 for qualifying candidates Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operational functions of the intake team which include scheduling, managing of Intake issues and delegating responsibility to staff. - Ensure all intake staff receive general and department specific training to conduct assessments to determine the disposition that best addresses a patient’s needs. - Provide clinical interventions which best support the patient’s stabilization and resolution of the crisis or problem. - Work with referral sources to facilitate admissions to the behavioral health unit(s) of the facility. - Create and maintain department procedures in the following areas: census maintenance, daily census records, inquiry calls and referrals, and ensure that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patient needs. - Responsible for the admissions services policies and procedures, regulatory compliance and service excellence. - Responds to intake calls and accurately gather information, complete Intake Form and engage access coordinator. - Provide resources and support for patient before, during, and after treatment of patient. - Request, gather, and obtain information from all resources on patients in order to facilitate appropriate treatment decisions. - Maintain schedule for filing court paperwork and hearings; work closely with court personnel to maintain good relationships. - Utilize data to complete program’s key statistical reports and generate reports.
