Location: Accuseal - Houston, TX
Hours: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Assembly Tech I position is responsible for assembling subassemblies and/or parts of subassemblies using the appropriate assembly procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with the carry out of general assembly procedures and work by the assembly instruction sheet
  • Assist with the assembly of subassemblies or parts of subassemblies according to specification
  • Ensure completeness by double checking work and correcting any assembly issues
  • Operate forklift to move product throughout the shop
  • Operate the overhead crane according to crane and rigging training
  • Assist with assembly procedures and administer their completion
  • Ensure the quality of assembled units meets the company standard
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the work areas clean and organized
  • Follow all company safety regulations

  • Basic math skills
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 - 1 Year Experience in similar capacity
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties. Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times.

Physical Demands
  • Moderate walking and climbing
  • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, and stoop
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
