Duties:
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, business professionals, and third parties.
- Produce high-quality legal work products, including drafting agreements, memoranda, and client communications.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Manage deadlines and work assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to firm policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required, including prolonged computer work and participation in virtual meetings and conferences.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar admission in California.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
- Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and carry vehicle structuring preferred.
- Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Sound business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Effective research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to influence and persuade others when necessary.
- Prior management experience is beneficial.
Education and Certifications:
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar admission in California.
