About the role:

The Devices and Inventory Management division at Rippling specializes in refining the asset procurement, purchasing, and management processes. Our goal is to empower IT administrators to manage and secure company devices and data with minimal effort. A hallmark of our service is our seamless onboarding experience. When our customers onboard a new employee, Rippling provides a preconfigured laptop complete with the necessary user accounts, company security settings, and essential software. This process not only facilitates a smooth start for the new employee but also significantly reduces the workload for IT administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the existing team to enhance and improve the existing device software management solutions.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software management integration issues in our device applications on Windows and Mac.
  • Ensure the delivery of products meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Assume clear ownership and responsibility for multiple components of a product.
  • Collaborate with company partners and end-users to gather constructive feedback and continually refine product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in building large-scale platforms for both web and mobile applications.
  • Solid foundational knowledge in computer science.
  • Experience with AWS is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in Python, C/C++, Powershell or Rust programming is a plus.

Rippling highly values in-office collaboration. Employees living within 30 miles of an office are expected to work onsite three days a week with those living 30-49.9 miles away expected to be in the office one day a week. Employees living over 50 miles away are required to relocate within 30 miles of an office. To enhance team cohesiveness, new employees are asked to work onsite three days a week for their first six months.
