Intermediate AccountantJob Summary:

LHH is seeking a dedicated and skilled Intermediate Accountant to join a growing and award-winning local broadband service provider. The successful candidate will handle payroll and general accounting tasks. This role aims to alleviate some of the workload of current employees and offers an excellent opportunity for the new hire to learn and grow within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

· Support Profit and Loss (P/L) and Balance Sheet monthly and quarterly accounting close.

· Review Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness.

· Process biweekly payroll in Paychex system and prepare and process new hire HR paperwork for the CFO.

· Support annual GAAP audit.

· Handle other project work as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

· At least 2 years of experience

· Maturity and confidentiality awareness.

· A finance or business background (an accounting degree is preferred but not required).

· General accounting knowledge with some payroll experience.

· Curiosity, a good work ethic, and positive energy.

· Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills.

· Prior working experience with QuickBooks online and the PayChex Payroll system is helpful.

Salary Range:

$60,000 to $65,000
