AlliedTravelCareers is working with AMN Healthcare Allied to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in LAKE ISABELLA, California, 93240 Pay Information $1,783 to $2,055 per week About The Position Job Description & Requirements Physical Therapist - Long-term Acute Care - (PT - Acute) StartDate: 1/20/2025 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1783.00 - $2055.00 PT needed asap for 13 weeks Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Administer manual exercises, modalities and/or traction to help relieve pain, increase the patient's strength, and decrease or prevent deformity and crippling. Oversee and direct patient care provided by Physcial Therapist Assistant/s. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Confer with the patient, medical practitioners and appropriate others to plan, implement and assess the intervention program. Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required. Physical Therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in QI activities.
