Computational Engineering Software Development Co-op Job Description: SoftInWay, Inc. We are seeking a Computational Engineering Software Development Co-op to join our Turbomachinery team and work on developing software solutions to improve the performance and efficiency of our turbomachinery products. As a Software Development Co-op, you will work alongside our team of turbomachinery experts to design and develop software tools and applications that will help us optimize our turbomachinery designs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software tools and applications for turbomachinery analysis and design. Collaborate with other teams to integrate software solutions into turbomachinery design systems. Participate in the testing and validation of software solutions to ensure their accuracy and reliability. Conduct research and development of new software technologies and techniques for turbomachinery applications. Document and present your work to other team members and stakeholders. Requirements: Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics/Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Strong programming skills in C++,C#. Proficiency in fundamental mathematical concepts and numerical methods, including but not limited to Finite Element Method, Finite Differences, and Iterative solvers, is advantageous. Experience in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and Structural Analysis. Familiarity with software development practices (OOP, SOLID) and version control systems (Git). Knowledge of turbomachinery systems and related software tools is a plus. Excellent communication/collaboration skills and Strong problem-solving capabilities. A passion for software development and desire to learn new technologies and techniques related to turbomachinery. J-18808-Ljbffr
