Description
Continuous Improvement Engineer:
- Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify, develop, and implement Lean processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze Workflow and Processes: Conduct time studies and value stream mapping to evaluate and improve production methods.
- Develop Standard Work Procedures: Create and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality departments to align improvement projects with business goals.
- Implement 5S and Visual Management: Promote workplace organization and efficiency through 5S practices and effective visual tools.
- Drive Problem-Solving Initiatives: Use root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address production and process challenges.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI): Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes for new product launches.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Research and integrate the latest Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
