Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Director for our Diagnostic Solutions division. This role will oversee product messaging, positioning, and the execution of marketing plans for our ThyroSeq and HemeOnc marketing programs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic and tactical skills necessary for successful product launches and ongoing product line maintenance. Strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills are essential, as this individual will drive campaign strategy and execution to enhance product sales and brand awareness in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product and service offerings through full lifecycle management, including existing portfolio management, new portfolio expansion, and multi-generational product planning.
  • Create multi-generation product plans, positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis to support new product offerings and enhancements, focusing on market segments, positioning, bundling, pricing, and profitability.
  • Utilize Voice of Customer research to identify user needs and inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Employ market research and competitive intelligence to shape product strategy and influence roadmap development.
  • Identify and mitigate competitive threats through comprehensive market analysis and updates on industry trends.
  • Maintain research databases to inform successful marketing and communications strategies.
  • Own revenue targets for applicable products and provide product support to the sales force and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Managed Care, IT, R&D, Compliance, and Billing, as the product owner and subject matter expert.
  • Plan and implement multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop educational programs to enhance sales force effectiveness and deliver product line growth.
  • Analyze market trends and sales potential, proposing forecasts with actionable plans to achieve market share.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners and key opinion leaders.
  • This is a remote opportunity, but travel will be required to NY, TX or field staff training as needed.

Performance Measurements:

  • Demonstrate strategic and tactical thinking to support product revenue goals and marketing objectives.
  • Deliver effective strategies to achieve established business KPIs, focusing on branding and program development.
  • Ensure traditional marketing channels meet the objectives of Sonic Healthcare USA's Diagnostic Solutions marketing programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management and marketing within Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, Diagnostics, or Medical Device).
  • Strong background in product marketing, with experience in direct-to-patient and physician marketing.
  • Fundamental understanding of the payer landscape, including commercial and government sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with knowledge of financial models and business case analysis.
  • Proven experience in product positioning and messaging.
  • Excellent influencing skills with the ability to motivate and demonstrate organizational influence.
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven team player with proficiency in standard office equipment and basic laboratory equipment.
