Job Summary:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making within the organization. Building upon foundational skills, you will beresponsible for conducting complex data analyses, developing models, and providing actionable insights to support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:


Data Collection & Integration:
  • Assist in gathering data from multiple sources, including databases and spreadsheets.

  • Collaborate with other BI team members to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.

  • Help in integrating disparate data sources into a unified data warehouse or BI platform in the form of research and analysis.

Data Analysis :

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to uncover insights and trends.

  • Support in identifying trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.

  • Develop and refine analytical models to address specific business challenges and opportunities.

Data Visualization & Reporting:

  • Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

  • Create standard and ad-hoc reports based on business requirements.

  • Prepare presentations and documentation to convey findings to stakeholders.

  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and accessible to relevant parties.

  • Implement best practices for data visualization to enhance usability and understanding.

Business Insights & Recommendations:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand key priorities and objectives.

  • Interpret analysis results and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to decision-makers.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.

Support & Quality Assurance:

  • Provide technical support to users encountering issues with BI tools or reports.

  • Contribute to maintaining and updating data dictionaries, documentation, and best practices.

  • Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to maintain the accuracy and reliability of reports and analyses.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine analyses.

  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on data analysis and BI tools, providing guidance and training to team members.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Intermediate to proficient skills in SQL (T-SQL or Snowflake) for querying ,manipulating, and modeling data.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI or similar.
  • Methodical approach to tasks ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impact through data analysis.
  • Previous experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data science roles is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookup, index/match, pivot).
  • Experience in payments or financial industry helpful.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field and/or prior comparable work experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation range - $68,400 - $87,000
  • End of Year Discretionary Bonus

Traditional Physical Requirements
