We're looking for a junior teammate eager to learn and take on entry level marketing digital creative for the Kroc Center Marketing Team. This part-time position is perfect for those who want to learn more about the creative process and gain experience while in school. Essential Functions The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working alongside the Marketing & Partnerships Director in creating design solutions that have high visual impact. They will design brand-consistent print and digital collateral and will be responsible to produce social media content ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: General Responsibilities Ensure the most enjoyable experience for all RJKCCC guests. Maintain all public and restricted areas in a neat and clean fashion. Immediately rectify and/or report to appropriate staff any potentially unsafe conditions to ensure member and guest safety. Assist and direct guests in moving about the program areas to avoid crowded conditions and maximize service efficiency.

Specific Responsibilities Design RJKCCC program related content under the supervision of the Creative Lead. Uphold the mission and branding of The Salvation Army Kroc Center in all design and communications. Assist the marketing department with Center-wide events by gathering necessary materials and supplies, taking photographs of the event, and coordinating marketing materials for the Kroc Center Maintain an inventory of all equipment and supplies assigned to the RJKCCC Marketing Department. Carry out the decision and instructions given by your supervisor, and in accordance with Salvation Army Policies and Procedures. Perform other assignments/duties as directed.

Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 10lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinets drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Minimum Qualifications Current progress in Graphic Design College Program or equivalent experience preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud based programs, Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Bridge. Demonstrated artistic eye for design and text hierarchy. Demonstrated proficiency in web based software platforms: Myemma, Mailchimp, Slack, Trello. Experience with Google Suite (Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets) Proficiency in Mac platform Plus Skills: Adobe XD, Figma and Premiere is a plus

Qualifications Experience

Current progress in Graphic Design College Program or equivalent experience preferred. (required) Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud based programs, Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Bridge. (required)
