Software Engineer IV
to join our team supporting PMW 160 CANES Engineering Support Services. The ideal candidate is located in San Diego, CA and has proven experience as a Software Engineer supporting NAVWAR PEO C4I and/or NIWC PAC C4I POR software development. 6+ years of experience providing support for the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency. 4+ years of experience with the engineering and integration of domain and enterprise services software for CANES. 6+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions using one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Server OS, Microsoft Domain Controllers/GPOs, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL, WSUS, RHEL, Microsoft SCOM, and Microsoft WSL. 4+ years of experience with PowerShell development. 4+ years of experience with Python scripting. 2+ years of experience with Ansible. Knowledge of the Cisco IOS-XE Operating System. Experience in networking and familiarity with Cisco products, including Zero Touch Provisioning. Must hold a CompTIA Security+ certification. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science. A differing Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training may be substituted for four additional years of experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency (for a total of ten years). AND three years of experience supporting the engineering of DoD Afloat Network systems (CANES, ADNS, ISNS, CENTRIXS, SCI Networks, SUBLAN, and/or COMPOSE). Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate. Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive): Provide expert level knowledge in systems engineering and information technology. Develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements. Investigate and resolve issues that encompass various applications and technologies, necessitating collaboration with technical staff from several organizations. Develop and revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability. Salary Range : $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Benefits
