Overview:
As a member of the Retail Banking team the Relationship Banker provides guidance on banking products and services. The Relationship Banker also will interface with other business lines in order to refer when customer needs are assessed and uncovered. The Relationship Banker must possess high energy and cultivate meaningful relationships with new and existing customers, using trust, respect, integrity and transparency to deepen these relationships. The Relationship Banker provides value for the customer and for the bank by assisting clients on the teller line as well as platform. The Relationship Banker is responsible for individual contributions to the branchs goals, collaborating with managers and team members on sales strategy, as well as participating in community affairs and activities to develop business effectively. Responsibilities: The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function. Attain complete knowledge of products and services, recognize referral opportunities and successfully partner with appropriate business lines including mortgage, wealth, cash management, commercial lending and residential lending Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently and accurately. Deliver and cross-sell banking products in conjunction with customers needs through platform interactions and teller line transitions Assist in the attainment of branch-specific goals in conjunction with bank initiatives and the strategic plan Provide best in class customer service to customers regarding daily transactions, addressing inquiries, problem resolution and customer follow up in accordance with all bank policies and expectations Perform outbound sales activities including prospecting and outbound calling to prospective and existing customers, in persona, virtual and via phone. Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customers business confidential in accordance with bank policy Operate technology as required Consistent utilization of the customer management system to document customer and prospect interactions, send referrals and update campaigns.
Qualifications: Education and Experience Associates or Bachelors degree preferred Previous banking or relevant work experience preferred Skills and Competencies
