Be you ... be here.Job SummaryWe're seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer IV to play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of our mission-critical, enterprise systems. As a key member of our testing team, you'll design, execute, analyze, and report on performance tests across diverse technology stacks, working closely with development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences and maintaining system stability under high-volume workloads.The engineer will also be responsible for test automation with agile and waterfall teams for core application projects which impact our care center, clients and customers. This role works with team members to ensure automated testing is completed with proper coverage for all the requirements.Essential Job Functions Performance TestingCollaborate with development teams to define performance goals and requirements.Design and develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies.Author and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter, Java, ReadyAPI (card services side), K6, and JavaScript (lending side).Execute performance tests in performance testing environment.Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues.Propose and implement performance optimization solutions.Prepare clear and concise test reports and recommendations.Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools and best practices.Work closely with team members to thoroughly troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.Contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing processes and methodologies.Test Design- Write automation test scripts using an object-oriented Ruby/Cucumber OR Java/Cypress/Selenium framework for multiple applications like web based, web services and database. Contribute to extending the existing framework.Test Execution & Reporting - Execute tests as needed throughout projects, analyze and report test results. Identify and track defects through their lifecycle. Utilize defect management and organization skills, provide progress and metrics on test execution and defects to project team. Provide leadership while contributing to team and company objectives. Follow team and company standards and contribute to refine and improve process and procedure, while defining and maintaining test data.Subject Matter Expert – Develop and maintain expert understanding of all of the components and functionality of the system and framework. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training on testing practices and advise impacts for system changes.Business Communications: Demonstrate foundational knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial, loyalty rewards, and credit card regulatory while working with various areas of the business.
