Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologistto join Baylor Scott & White Health in Killeen, Texas.(approx.1 hour north of Austin and 2 hours south of Dallas).

  • Recruiting BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to practice both hematology/oncology at regional Killeen Cancer Center - 2207 South Clear Creek Road, Killeen, TX 76549.
  • Join a team of 3 other physicians at a dedicated cancer center.
  • Office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
  • On-site lab, pharmacy, and infusion center.
  • On-site Radiation Oncology.
  • Referral base from primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital.
  • Academic affiliation of Baylor College of Medicine - Temple.
  • EPIC AND BEACON EMR.
  • Support staff consists of Nurse Navigators, Nurse Coordinators, Clerical and Scheduling Staff.

About AdventHealth Central Texas

AdventHealth Central Texas is a 230-bed acute-care hospital with a Level IV Trauma designation. Located in Killeen, the medical center offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services that include an emergency department open 24/7, cardiovascular care, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, and other services, and plays a central role in community wellness.

Through various contracts with AdventHealth, Baylor Scott & White Health provides hospitalist, anesthesiologist, physician, nurse practitioner, and CRNA support to name a few, to help with their staffing needs. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine; HemOnc Board Certified
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
