JOB TITLE: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Implementation Deputy Project Manager JOB LOCATION: Carson City NV WAGE RANGE: $100k to $125k JOB NUMBER:24-02111 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Three or more years' experience managing large teams and overall efforts to implement large-scale ERP systems (government experience a plus). Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills. JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is in need of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Implementer Deputy Project Manager to assist our Project Director and Project Manager across the Human Resources (HR) and Financial (FIN) workstreams on behalf of one of our state government clients in the State of Nevada. You should have experience managing teams and efforts to implement large-scale ERP solutions. The candidate filling this position must be located in or willing to relocate to (or within daily commuting distance of) Carson City, Nevada and is expected to work on-site at the client location 100% of the time. For the right candidate, traveling to Carson City, Nevada 50% of the time may be acceptable—however, being within commuting distance of) Carson City, Nevada is highly preferred. You will apply your knowledge and experience to support our state government client in implementing its chosen ERP system through helping to support and direct the HR/FIN workstream teams comprised of state agency, as directed/delegated by our Project Director and/or Project Manager. This will require providing advice and guidance to our state government client, working in collaboration with the ERP system integrator (SI) vendor. You will bring a mix of expert-level project management capabilities, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership and teamwork capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Travel expectation: Approximately 50% travel to client sites is anticipated to support future engagements/projects (once the above-described project ends). As an ERP System Implementation Deputy Project Manager, you will:Support the delivery of services to our current and future state government client(s) on time, within scope, and within budget, including assigning and managing the state government and Client HR/FIN workstream project teams and creating project work product. Serve as deputy project manager to our current state government client and as deputy project manager for future state government clients across the country, supporting client work and deepening our team's experience and knowledge. Develop project deliverables for our current and future state government client(s). Communicate project and delivery status to our clients, team members, and other stakeholders, including the facilitation of client meetings. In partnership with our internal team, respond to state government opportunities related to ERP systems Develop appropriate relationships with ERP system SIs and solution providers in the state government market. Collaborate with other firm practice groups and practices that can bring ERP system knowledge. Participate in marketing and business development activities, including writing blog posts and leading and participating in prospective client business development meetings. You HaveThree or more years' experience managing large teams and overall efforts to implement large-scale ERP systems (government experience a plus). Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills. Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups. Proficiency in all Microsoft (MS) applications including MS Project and MS Visio. Ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner. Current PMI/Scrum/Agile or related certifications are preferred. Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems/products (experience with CGI Advantage a plus). Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and related processes/artifacts.
