Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for nearly 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.


We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist. Provides client-centered, trauma-informed, structured, goal-oriented and time limited face-to-face individual and/or group therapy for clients of the Agency who are experiencing concerns with their mental health and/or SUD issues, as well as both personal and interpersonal concerns. Provides these services within the context of the goals identified on the client's Individualized Service Plan. The person in this position provides services within Zepf facilities and, when appropriate, via telehealth. Services are provided in an environment that assures client's privacy and confidentiality.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Manager or Clinical Coordinator, providing individual and group therapy both in agency facilities and in the community based on client needs as identified on the Individual Care Plan (ICP).
  • Assists in the formulation of Individual Care Plan and signs on all clients serviced. Works closely with other agencies.
  • May provide crisis intervention services.
  • Maintains direct service productivity per agency standards.
  • Maintains required documentation per agency standards.
  • Participates in team meetings.
  • Consults and collaborates with other agency staff as requested by supervisor.
  • Carries out policy and procedures of agency, may participate in community work, staff development, agency-wide projects Job and serve on committees/teams.
  • Attends meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Master's degree required.
  • LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or other ODMH recognized status required.
  • Must have completed a Master's level internship with a concentration in psychotherapy OR
  • Have 2 years of work experience providing psychotherapy
  • CPR and First Aid
