The Beverage marketing team at Ocean Spray is comprised of passionate marketers driven to build demand for the bold, refreshing power of the cranberry - resulting in vibrant, healthy lives for our consumers and farmer families. We are looking for an energetic, intellectually curious individual who can join our team of consumer-obsessed marketers to help drive sustainable growth for the #1 shelf-stable juice brand in the category. The position is located in Massachusetts, either in our Boston office (Seaport location) or at our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA.
Reporting to the Director of Base Beverage, the Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for driving growth on Ocean Spray's flagship USA Juice business. This position is responsible for brand-building and business-building initiatives, ensuring delivery of our annual financial targets to our Grower Owners. You'll lead both short-term and long-term strategy, develop best-in-class consumer-centric marketing campaigns, all while having fun! Additionally, you will be responsible for coaching and developing an Associate Brand Manager direct report.
A Day in the Life... Create and implement long-term growth strategies for key business or consumer segments, gathering alignment from stakeholders and leading cross functional teams in execution of these growth drivers Lead development and execution of annual marketing strategies and plans to deliver against USA Beverage financial targets Lead and inspire teams of cross functional peers, across Sales, Insights & Analytics, Operations, and Finance on key projects to deliver brand and financial commitments Partner with Media, Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing and Omni teams to develop consumer-insight led, best-in-class marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives and Marketing KPIs Leverage a deep understanding of consumer needs and insights, retailer sales and trends, and competitive activity to analyze performance drivers and implement actions to achieve business goals Lead and develop an ABM direct report, ensuring clear goals and providing regular and frequent feedback for ABM's success
What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is required. MBA preferred. Candidate must have 5+ years of work experience in CPG brand management, preferably with previous experience managing direct reports Strong analytic skills. Ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan. Ability to navigate ambiguity and to coach teams to reach decisions amidst competing factors; Ability to problem solve leveraging cross functional support Superior presentation skills, both in ability to develop compelling stories and to effectively deliver those stories to audiences at all levels within the organization Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence without authority. Candidate should be a self-starter who has demonstrated personal and thought leadership capabilities in prior responsibilities. Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)Master's Degree (Preferred)
