The Senior Director, Employee Experience & Change Management is responsible for shaping and delivering an enriching employee experience, promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture. This role combines strategic leadership of Duty of Care, Employee Relations, Organizational Change functional units to ensure policies, and practices align with our Strategy 100 and People and Culture (P&C) department's Purpose. The Senior Director will work collaboratively with other P&C COEs and Partners to build a culture of inclusion, respect, integrity, and trust throughout the organization. S/he will be a core member of the P&C Senior Leadership Team and responsible for amplifying the voice of the employee, leveraging insights to drive thoughtful changes to the workplace experience.

*Partner with P&C functional leads and departments across IRC to develop and execute programs and initiatives that reflect IRCs thinking on a dynamic future of work and best prepares the organization for the future.

*Build a clear narrative about IRC values-based Employee Value Proposition and Employee Experience strategy that enhances employee engagement, productivity, and retention in alignment with IRCs Strategy 100 goals.

*Lead cross-functional partnerships with P&C functional leads and other relevant departments to embed supportive employee outcomes within organizational strategies and ensure effective communication and promotion of wellbeing initiatives.

*In partnership with the Chief GEDI Officer and other Senior P&C leaders, develop a cohesive strategy that aligns engagement, inclusivity, and growth opportunities, to cultivate a high-trust and inclusive culture.

*Champion initiatives that elevate and enforce IRC's organizational standards, fostering a culture aligned with core values and exemplary behavior among staff members such as the IRC WAY Day.

*Lead efforts to enhance how IRC manages employee concerns, employee's experience of the process, and manager's employee relations capabilities.

*Partner with Internal Communications to ensure effective change communication, providing support mechanisms, and promoting employee engagement for successful change initiatives creating an environment where employees continuously thrive in a dynamic workplace

*Establish and lead a new organizational design team focused on strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, adaptability, and mission alignment with expertise in culture and change management.

*Drive an integrated employee experience and organizational design strategy that aligns structures, roles, and culture for agility and inclusivity

*Lead and inspire a high-performing and resilient team of direct reports providing regular guidance, feedback, and opportunities for growth

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

*15+ years relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in high-growth, complex global organizations. Some NGO experience is preferred.

*Demonstrated expertise in a similar role, with a focus on employee experience, organizational behavior and transformation, internal communications.

*Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging with a track record of implementing GEDI initiatives.

*Have a proven track record of influencing and partnering with stakeholders across organizational levels.

*Ability to work across geographical boundaries with a high level of cultural sensitivity.

*Proven experience in a global humanitarian or non-profit setting is highly desirable.

*Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations related to employee wellbeing, including privacy regulations.

*Demonstrated skill in partnering across departments and levels to achieve shared objectives

*Experience achieving strong results through management of others

3-5 direct reports with responsibility for specific Duty of Care, Employee & Labor Relations, OD/Change portfolios and evolving programs targeting elements of Employee Experience.

Compensation:

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.

US Benefits:

The IRC offers a comprehensive and highly competitive set of benefits. All US employees are eligible for sick time, a 403b retirement savings plans: up to 4.5% immediately vested matching contribution, plus an 3-7% additional IRC contribution, and an Employee Assistance Program which is available to our staff and their families to support in times of crisis and mental health struggles.

In addition, full-time employees are eligible for 10 US paid holidays, 20-25 paid time off days, disability & life insurance, medical, dental, and vision insurance (employee contribution starting at $135, $7, and $5 per month respectively) and FSA for healthcare, childcare, and commuter costs. Part-time employees are eligible for a proportionate amount of paid time off. These additional benefits apply to employees who work at least 6 months within a 12 month time period.
