Responsibilities Develop solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile /DevOps practices. Ensure the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. Perform multiple software implementations and develop both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Design, develop, and be accountable for feature delivery. Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality. Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt. Coordinate competing priorities and drive teamwork. Work in diverse team environments that are local and remote. Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Scala, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications. Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging. Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment. Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka. Utilize data loading tools including Scoop, Flume, and Knowledge of workflow/schedulers including Oozie and Autosys. Work on multi-threading and concurrency concept and loading data from disparate data source sets. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Required Skills & Experience Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Scala, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications; Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging; Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment; Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka; Utilizing data loading tools including Scoop, Flume, and Knowledge of workflow/schedulers including Oozie and Autosys; and, Working on multi-threading and concurrency concept and loading data from disparate data source sets.
