Procon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Engineer I
to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to kick-start their career in construction management.
Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution. Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports. Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to resolve issues and ensure project milestones are met. Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Support the procurement process by assisting with material and equipment orders. Track and report on project costs, helping to manage budgets effectively. Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate potential project risks. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) is a plus. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety standards is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
