We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead strategic initiatives within our global engagement agency. Based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, this hybrid role combines remote work flexibility with mandatory in-office collaboration, ensuring optimal interaction and synergy across team projects. Operating within a privately held, $850 million corporation, this position plays a pivotal role in harnessing the principles of behavioral economics to deliver measurable results and drive sustained engagement across international markets. Salary:
$135,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue potential business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Engage directly with high-level stakeholders to fully understand their core business needs and goals. Lead the strategic development and execution of tailored solutions that align closely with client objectives, enhancing customer loyalty and client satisfaction. Collaborate closely with a team of subject matter experts to design and implement effective business strategies. Drive rigorous pursuit of new market ventures and ensure alignment with corporate growth objectives. Minimum Position Qualifications: Residence within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area or willingness to relocate for hybrid work requirements. A minimum of 8 years of proven B2B sales experience, particularly with Fortune 500 clientele. Demonstrated ability to develop significant new business, preferably in marketing solutions or professional services. Ability to handle sales cycles ranging from 3 to 12 months and closing sales of $250k or more. Stability in career with no more than three job transitions in the past decade. Preferred Qualifications: Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging persuasively with various stakeholders. Experience in a global or multicultural business environment. A track record of meeting or exceeding performance benchmarks. Advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Skills: Expertise in navigating complex sales processes and negotiations. Robust organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced problem-solving skills with a capacity to devise and implement strategic solutions. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and drive a team towards achieving business goals. High proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
