What will your job look like?
We are seeking an innovative and strategic
Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO)
with at least 15 years of progressive experience in data engineering, advanced analytics, data governance, and executive-level leadership. The
CDAO
will develop and execute MTM’s data and analytics strategy, transforming data into a strategic asset to drive top-line growth, cost-saving efficiencies, and improved business outcomes. This role is pivotal in advancing data engineering, data governance, reporting and analytics, and AI capabilities within a dynamic non-emergent medical transportation business. The
CDAO
will establish and enforce robust data governance practices, ensuring accurate data collection to guarantee encounter acceptance by health plans for every MTM trip. Additionally, the
CDAO
will oversee the existing EDI team, ensuring seamless data exchange and reporting. Deep expertise in healthcare and managing large-scale data ecosystems is essential. What you’ll do: Data Strategy & Vision : Develop and execute MTM’s data analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals to support innovation and cost-saving initiatives. Data Governance & Compliance : Establish and enforce robust data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations and promote best practices in data stewardship enterprise-wide. Data Engineering & Infrastructure : Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of data infrastructure, ensuring data platforms are scalable and secure. Reporting & Business Intelligence : Enhance MTM’s reporting and BI capabilities, ensuring that data is accessible, relevant, and actionable for stakeholders across the organization. Advanced Analytics & AI : Lead the development and application of predictive analytics and AI to provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and growth. Team Leadership & Development : Lead and mentor a high-performing data engineering, analytics, and data science team. Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment : Act as the primary liaison between data analytics teams and executive leadership. Value Realization & Impact Measurement : Define and track metrics to assess the impact of data analytics initiatives on business performance. What you’ll need: Experience, Education & Certifications: Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 15 years in data engineering, data management, reporting and BI, analytics, data science, AI or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in leading large-scale data initiatives and analytics teams, ideally in healthcare or transportation industries. Industry Expertise:
Strong background in healthcare data, payer systems, claims processing, or medical transportation business. Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of healthcare data regulations, including HIPAA. Skills: Strategic Data Expertise:
Deep understanding of data strategy, governance, and analytics in healthcare settings. Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of data engineering, big data solutions, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). Data Governance & Regulatory Compliance:
In-depth understanding of healthcare data regulations, including HIPAA. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to apply advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Executive Leadership & Influence:
Proven experience in building and leading high-performing analytics teams. Stakeholder Management & Business Collaboration:
