Our client, a software company that automates business processes, is seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key member of their corporate accounting team, responsible for executing close process with high precision and accuracy. Primary responsibilities for this position include the international accounting, reconciliation and reporting for a 2,000+ employee, multinational organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide accounting support to the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting for the company's thirteen foreign subsidiaries, including accounts payable, employee expenses, treasury and general ledger accounting.
Interface with accounting partners to ensure accurate and timely data for consolidation and reporting purposes.
Review balance sheets and income statements and oversee all intercompany transactions.
Interact and coordinate with personnel in various corporate departments, including HR, Payroll, Legal and Equity teams in order to resolve and record transactions at the entity level.
Ensure timely and accurate GL accounting and reconciliation of assigned subsidiaries.
Review monthly journal entries submitted by local accountants for agreement to provide support.
Review and assist with routine payroll accounting questions including PTO, off cycle transactions, employee advances and related accruals.
Coordinate with the US accounting team on local compensation and equity related matters as well as annual filing requirements.
Execute controls and close processes to ensure compliance with its key SOX controls.
Support external statutory and workers' compensation audits as required.
Complete special projects and analyses as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of finance and accounting experience
1+ years with an emphasis on international accounting
Experience with foreign statutory reporting is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA is preferred
