Law Clerk Supporting the FBI Legal Forfeiture Unit

We currently have a potential vacancy for a Law Clerk in the Legal Forfeiture Unit. In this role, you will be supporting the overall mission of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Responsibilities
Under supervision, assists attorneys with the litigation process. Reviews work of paralegals and clerks. Prepares all documents related to the litigation process to include drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc. Screens documents for privilege. Performs other duties as assigned.
NOTE: Applicants with an Active TS Clearance preferred
Requirements
Law Degree: or currently a student at an ABA-accredited law school with at least one-year completed Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resources Excellent communication skills; oral and written, to include legal writing skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, to include databases Ability to work in a team environment, deliver the highest quality of work, and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressure
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
** NOTE: The 20% pay differential is dependent upon the customer's order for services and requires an Active Top-Secret security clearance.
