Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Finance

to join our Corporate team. Our Investor Relations team plays a crucial role in maintaining communication between a company and its investors, ensuring transparency and trust by providing accurate financial information and addressing concerns effectively. The position will be responsible for planning, management, and execution of McGraw Hill's Investor Relations activities. The position will report to the VP of Investor Relations & Corporate Finance and will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive management team to shape and deliver messaging for the investment community. The role will also collaborate with key constituents internally and externally and weigh in on key corporate decisions. The position will lead the quarterly earnings process and initiatives that impact the investment community including but not limited to rating agency relationships, capital structure, ESG, benchmarking, and financial communications. To be considered for this role, candidates should have prior experience leading core investor relations workstreams and possess financial acumen, analytical skills, and effective public speaking abilities. Project management skills and a strategic mindset to engage stakeholders and convey complex financial information is also required. This position can work remotely from a home office in the United States or from one of our McGraw Hill offices. Travel is required 3-4 times per year for in-person meetings and team events. Candidates must permanently reside within the United States to be considered for this role. What you will be doing: Act as a liaison between the company and investors on financial matters and communications Maintain and develop a positive image for the organization Analyze corporate activities and other opportunities to build and create new initiatives Assist in setting and executing the overall Investor Relations strategy Lead and oversee the end-to-end earnings process, including strategic planning, drafting key communications, coordinating comprehensive preparation efforts, and managing logistics Partner with internal teams cross-functionally to synthesize business intelligence, research, sentiment, and competitor activity Oversee and optimize the content management and presentation on the investor relations website, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging Participate in investor calls and meetings You should apply if you have: Bachelor's degree required, minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role Mature, confident, and comfortable interacting with senior leadership Excellent written, interpersonal, and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text Ability to analyze and improve opportunities for investors Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience in research, banking, or company investor relations Preferred Experience: Master's Degree 10 years' experience in a similar role Excellent written, interpersonal, and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text Ability to analyze and improve opportunities for investors The pay range for this position is between $150,000-$200,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual incentive plan is included as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits.
