Global Sensor Management Analyst
to integrate within the Missile Defense / Space Domain Awareness / Missile Warning (MD/SDA /MW) mission areas to support USSPACECOM. The successful candidate will possess a wide range of skills and experience in order to analyze potential national strategic and operational impacts resulting from the loss or disruption of critical systems or capabilities. What You'll Be Doing: Provides technical guidance, advisory support, and assistance on project and/or major phases for broad and varied operations. Serves as an authority on issues of MD/SDA/MW with comprehensive knowledge of long-range mission, objective, and management plans in the Unified Command Plan. Oversight of all MD/SDA/MW systems-from sensors to correlation centers to forward users and Command and Control Systems. Responds to USSPACECOM GO-FO level RFIs involving multi-mission sensors and C2 anomalies. Recommends employment capabilities, operational concepts, and tactics for the MD/SDA/ MW mission area for the long-range implementation and administration of substantive DOD operational programs assigned to the command. Possesses in-depth knowledge of warfighting doctrine, joint combat command structure, and global command and control constructs. Supports multiple organizations in driving solutions for C2 structure test/implementation and interfaces with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense & respective System Program Offices. Proposes system changes involving significant departures from established policy with the application of many different quantitative and qualitative techniques. Reviews Presidential, Secretary of Defense (SecDef), AND Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) policy, directives, instructions, guidance, concepts, and doctrine for incorporation into command strategic policy and operational guidance. Required Skills and Experience: 8+ years of experience in the Missile Defense, Space Domain Awareness, or Missile Warning mission area. Experience within the MD/SDA/MW mission areas, including familiarity with the Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Processing Data System-Migration (PDS-M), Command and Control Battle Management Communications (C2BMC), ground-based radar operations, and satellite operations. Knowledge of multiple Missile Defense Weapon Systems (THAAD, Aegis BMD, Aegis Ashore, GMD) and their integration. Familiarity with Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) systems, processes, conferencing, and CJCSI requirements. Understanding of a wide range of SDA-capable systems, including sensors, correlation centers, data lines, forward users, capabilities, functions, and operational practices. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and maintain positive working relationships. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Previous MD/SDA/MW planning experience at the operational/theater level (e.g., Combatant Command, Joint/Combined Task Force, Component). Familiarity with Space Domain Awareness missions. JPME II qualification. Experience leading Operational Planning Teams (OPTs).
