Senior Tax Associate
We are a robust and growing CPA firm with a deep commitment to providing comprehensive financial services, including tax, operations management, M&A, and more. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our experienced team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior partners and engage in complex tax and accounting assignments in a supportive and dynamic environment. Salary:
DOE per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare comprehensive Federal and multi-state tax returns for a variety of entities including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. Address and resolve complex accounting and tax issues. Engage in both basic and intricate tax research projects. Develop and nurture ongoing client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement. Identify and pursue opportunities for tax planning and consulting, adding value to clients' business strategies. Collaborate closely with partners and team members on several concurrent tax projects. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration. A minimum of 2 years’ prior tax experience, preferably within a public accounting environment. CPA license or active progression towards obtaining a CPA license. Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with tax software and applications relevant to tax procedures. Experience in handling tax compliance and planning for bankruptcy and trusts and estates. Demonstrated leadership qualities and the potential to manage a team. Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields. Skills: Deep knowledge in Federal and State tax legislations. Proficient in the use of tax preparation and research software.
