Investment Funds Associate Attorney Join a prestigious international AM Law 50 firm as an Investment Funds Associate Attorney in either New York or Charlotte. $310,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Advise on the formation and structuring of various types of investment vehicles. Navigate complex legal and regulatory issues surrounding fund investments. Provide expert legal advice to fund managers and investors. Participate in negotiating and drafting fund documentation. Collaborate with clients to implement innovative investment strategies. Conduct legal due diligence for fund investments. Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the funds sector. Assist with compliance and governance issues. Minimum Position Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from a Top Tier law school. At least 4 years of experience in investment management and fund formation. Excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class). Must be licensed to practice law in the respective state or be eligible for waivers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Capable of handling complex legal projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a top law firm's investment funds practice. Specific expertise in private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills and team-oriented disposition. Proven track record of successful client relationship management. Skills: Exceptional drafting and legal writing skills. Ability to think critically and provide proactive solutions.
