To maintain our leadership in an evolving industry, we are expanding our Strategy & Market Intelligence team to provide deeper insights into customers, competitors, and the broader telecom ecosystem. These insights will drive strategic decisions and enhance customer engagement.
As the Market Strategy & Intelligence Director, you will leverage your expertise in the telecom and technology industries to identify transformative trends and disruptive innovations impacting Ericsson, its customers, and the broader ecosystem. Your analysis will explore critical topics like operators strategies, Extended Reality (XR), the future of communications, AI's role in telecom, and enterprise productivity transformation. The insights you develop will guide Ericsson's strategic planning and decision-making processes, positioning this role at the forefront of shaping the wireless communications landscape. What you will do: Analyze industry and technological trends that impact Ericsson MANA's business and its customers through in-depth primary and secondary research. Collaborate with regional and global teams to aggregate, structure, and analyze market data, delivering actionable intelligence to stakeholders. Develop impactful content, including presentations, reports, and market models, tailored for diverse audiences such as executive leadership, sales teams, and product owners. Contribute to major deliverables such as Ericsson's Annual Business Plan and Quarterly Situation Analysis. Build and maintain models for critical business metrics, such as market sizing, CapEx trends, and market share analysis. Utilize a variety of data sources, including analyst reports, primary research, and internal resources, to derive insights. Design innovative methods for gathering and analyzing market intelligence. Support strategy development initiatives and act as a trusted industry expert for executive leadership. The skills you bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Physics, plus an MBA from a top-tier institution. Experience: 5+ years in strategy or market intelligence, gained through roles in management consulting, investment banking (equity research or banking), or corporate strategy teams. Proven track record of high performance both individually and within teams. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills. Expertise in leveraging a wide range of information sources and building quantitative models.
