$100,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee construction defect litigation matters from initiation to conclusion with minimal oversight. Engage in discovery processes, site inspections, issue analysis, depositions, and settlement negotiations. Retain and liaise with expert witnesses to further expert discovery initiatives. Independently manage a variety of court appearances, depositions, and hearings. Work collaboratively with other attorneys and team members to meet both client and firm objectives. Minimum Position Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in construction defect litigation is required. A minimum of 2 years of robust litigation experience. Must be admitted to the California Bar. Proven litigation abilities, including managing cases independently and preparing for trial. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in handling high-profile or highly complex construction litigation cases. Proven track record of negotiating and resolving disputes effectively. Strong analytical skills to create legal strategies that align with client goals. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a collaborative team environment. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations effectively. Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and mentoring less experienced attorneys and legal staff.
