We are currently seeking a Data Architect (AWS & Snowflake) to join our team in Portland, Oregon (US-OR), United States (US). NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Data Architect with 12+ years of professional services experience, 5+ of which includes AWS (Redshift, EMR, RDS) and Snowflake design and development. A Data Architect on our team also understands cloud cost optimization, as well as AWS and Snowflake data architecture best practices. This role requires an onsite presence in Portland, Oregon. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop AWS and Snowflake solutions to meet business objectives Evaluate security risks and implement countermeasures for cloud-based solutions Investigate methods to improve cost efficiency and scalability of cloud-based solutions Provide guidance and mentoring to DevOps CICD team members Identify gaps and improvements of existing cloud-based solutions Architect Skills: Strong understanding of AWS and Snowflake technologies and a depth of experience deploying solutions in AWS and Snowflake Expertise managing and deploying Snowflake Accounts, warehouses, databases, objects, etc. Ability to translate complex business requirements into cloud-based technical solutions Experience with ETL tools and methodologies Strong understanding of security hardening and concepts within cloud frameworks Knowledgeable about AWS VPCs, PrivateLinks, routing, firewalls, and other network technologies Exposure to Azure technologies and resource management Expertise in the following Languages: Python, Terraform, SQL, Snowflake SQL, Shell, Github, DevOps Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in AWS design and development 5+ years of experience using Snowflake 5+ years of experience using Python 5+ years of experience using SQL Preferred Skills: AWS Certification AWS Security Principles Experience with Terraform, Shell, Github, DevOps On-site presence Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $187,875 - $250,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
