Responsibilities
Manage all implementation code promotion to multiple testing and production environments during the software development life-cycle. Work with the development and quality teams in implementing and enhancing our build/test environment and related processes and tasks. Perform minimal debugging to determine where automation failures should be directed to be addressed. Design & Implement a reliable build/test automation framework. Effectively communicate and collaborate with Development and Quality teams. Own the process for releasing builds into QA (schedule, release notes, etc). Own the process for releasing software to customers, including patches, maintenance releases, etc. Maintain and manage release and development branches within code repository to ensure consistency of code check-ins and applicability of related branches. Effectively determine when a release branch should be made as well as related branch management policies and best practices. Demonstrate understanding of software development life cycles. Hands-on knowledge of lab & IT infrastructure, comfortable configuring hardware, networks, software, etc. Familiarity with the following a strong plus: distributed systems, networking, multithreading, enterprise storage. Enforce acceptance criteria of turnover packages: code, documentation and other types of software development assets. Schedule, perform and notify stakeholders of releases. Support off hours release of software. Contribute to evolution of configuration management policy and procedures. Communicate CM methodologies to development staff. Troubleshoot software issues in all environments. Review system and machine event and error logs on routine basis. Qualifications
Required: BS Degree with 10+ years of experience, MS Degree with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years. 4 years additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree. Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Proven experience in a release management role supporting an enterprise Information Technology (IT) program. Demonstrated experience managing, planning, and scheduling the roll-out of IT services, updates, and releases to the production environment. Desired: ITIL certification desired. Peraton Overview

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
