We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in simulation environments to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation processes for our simulation framework. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure that all components, including Kubernetes, Post Processing Notebooks, and Fast Time Sim Dashboards, are seamlessly integrated and efficiently managed. Your work will enable real-time data access and automation, driving the continuous improvement of our simulation capabilities.
This is a

work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. What you will do:
CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for simulation models and related components. Kubernetes Automation: Automate the execution of Kubernetes libraries and manage the deployment of simulation components within Kubernetes environments. Post Processing Automation: Implement and maintain automation processes for Post Processing Notebooks, ensuring efficient data handling and analysis. Real-Time Data Access: Enable real-time access to BigQuery data from Fast Time Web Apps, ensuring timely and accurate information is available for decision-making. Dashboard Development: Develop and manage the Fast Time Sim Dashboard, providing clear and accessible insights into simulation performance and metrics. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and data teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of all simulation components. Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance the simulation framework by identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and performance. Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (e.g., Teamcity, Jenkins, GitLab CI), cloud platforms, and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Experience with BigQuery and web-based dashboards is highly desirable. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on automation and process improvement. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. $142,000 - $167,100 a year

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $142,000 - $167,100 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
