Sr Director, Portfolio Strategy

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Directorto lead our Offering Portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible foroverseeing the development, management, and optimization of our UL portfolio ofproducts and services. This is a unique opportunity to keep Honeywell Fire a leader in early detection technologies. The person will have full accountability for growth of UL portfolio and increase in margin/ revenue against market/ competitors. The role will report to the CPO, Fire.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record ofleadership in product management, ability to provide comprehensive offering tothe market, pricing, profitability and growth strategy, exceptional strategicplanning skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration todeliver impactful solutions to the market.

Ideal Candidate Experience
10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on portfolio management or leadership roles. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth through portfolio initiatives. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Own the portfolio lifecycle aspects: Phase-in, Phase-out, EOL, Co-own Fire revenue and margin goals for UL portfolio as part of the Fire Leadership Team. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with teams across different regions and cultures. Strong business acumen B2B experience Channel management
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute acomprehensive strategy for our offering portfolio, aligned with businessobjectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and prioritiesfor the portfolio and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entireproduct lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, for all offerings in theportfolio. Drive innovation and creativity in product development, ensuringthat our offerings meet the evolving needs of our customers and remaincompetitive in the market.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customerneeds, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for portfolioexpansion or optimization to drive revenue growth and market share.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely withcross-functional teams including product development, engineering, marketing,sales, and finance to drive portfolio initiatives forward. Facilitatecommunication and coordination between teams to ensure successful productlaunches and ongoing management.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and executego-to-market strategies for new offerings and feature enhancements. Collaboratewith marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successfulproduct launches and adoption. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strongrelationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization,including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Provideregular updates on portfolio performance and address any issues or challengesas they arise.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor keyperformance metrics for the portfolio, including revenue, market share, andcustomer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas forimprovement and drive continuous optimization.
Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that allofferings in the portfolio comply with regulatory requirements and industrystandards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio to protectthe company's reputation and financial performance.
YOU MUST HAVE
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in product management and portfolio management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of developing and executing successful portfolio strategies. Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer insights. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels of the organization. Understanding of fire industry and building regulations AOP achievement experience
WE VALUE: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field Relevant domain experience in Honeywell's Fire markets (Buildings, Healthcare, Datacenters, Critical Environment, and Hospitality) a plus. Experience in a global organization Experience in market research and analysis Strong leadership and project management skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
