Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an

Inside/OSP Manager

to join our team on the upcoming Enterprise DISA JSP ETM Services 2.0 program. This position is onsite in the Washington, DC area.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee all ISP and OSP installation and maintenance activities, ensuring the infrastructure is managed according to JSP-approved standards. This includes cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and associated elements. Ensure the maintenance and regular clean-up of all Telecommunications Rooms (TRs) within Pentagon, Mark Center, NCR, and outlying locations (approx. 1800 - 1900 TRs).

Ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA/EIA 568A, 568B, 568C, and 568D Standards and BICSI guidelines. Perform QA checks before releasing equipment/installations for customer connectivity.

Provide 24x7x365 on-call break-fix support for ISP incidents and coordinate emergency restoration for OSP incidents, ensuring that restoration is completed within the prescribed time.

Oversee bi-weekly and monthly reporting, including the Survey Report, Incident Report, Outside Plant Infrastructure Impact Report, and the Plant Corrective Maintenance Plan.

Conduct site surveys, develop maintenance plans, and manage permits for OSP projects.

Ensure all safety procedures are followed during maintenance, installation, and cleanup in TRs and during OSP work. Report any unsafe findings within one hour.

Conduct detailed OSP surveys, manage data updates in the CMDB, and provide monthly reports on OSP infrastructure.

Verify physical and logical drawings, manage the configuration data associated with the cable plant, and ensure accurate as-built documentation.

Maintain the All-Path Director Software or similar systems for smart patch panels, tracking cable status, power issues, and port availability.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required. Bachelor's in IT-related field with 3+ years relevant experience. Must have proof of current or the ability to attain OSP Confined Space Training.

Strong expertise in managing both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure in a DoD or similar environment.

Proficiency in handling ISP and OSP cabling, including fiber optics, copper, coax, and associated cable management systems.

Experience in compliance with ANSI/TIA/EIA and Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) standards for telecommunications.

Excellent project management and organizational skills to oversee infrastructure projects, including maintenance, installations, surveys, and emergency restorations.

Ability to manage a team and coordinate with various stakeholders, including government entities and external vendors, for infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.

Familiarity with government-approved ticketing and tracking systems for logging maintenance actions and incident reports. Certifications: RCDD
