We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with a specialization in Microsoft Azure to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure cloud computing, DevOps methodologies, and development skills. As a cloud engineer, they will play a pivotal role in automating, deploying and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure and reliable cloud solutions in accordance with best practices. Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. Collaborate with various infrastructure and development teams on evaluating and implementing optimal cloud solutions. Provide day-to-day cloud support to a diverse user base. Assist in the documentation of cloud infrastructure and processes. Keep abreast of latest trends and developments in the cloud computing space.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5 yrs of experience related to cloud computing or cloud platforms (Azure is a must, AWS/GCP preferred). Basic understanding of database technologies and networking concepts in the cloud. Knowledge of Python and Bash/PowerShell for integration and automation work. Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform preferred) and DevOps methodologies. Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes (Preferred). Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Good communication skills and a passion for learning.
The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$160k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
