Sr Mgr, Procurement

RB Global, Inc., is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Manager to join our team. This position can be located anywhere in the United States or Canada. Occasional travel to a local facility is required. The Senior Procurement Manager will focus on driving savings and managing a team responsible for the category performance of several categories, including, but not limited to: IT Telecom; IT Software; IT Hardware; IT Peripherals, IT SaaS, IT Asset Management and IT Professional Services Agreements; P2P system management, Corporate Services, and others as needed. Key activities include managing vendors, negotiating contracts, conducting RFPs, utilizing and managing the P2P system, conducting QBRs, budget and reporting management, and implementing strategic sourcing activities. Key skills/experience: project management, strong analytics, conducting RFPs and category management. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for managing a team and categories globally to drive savings, process improvement and meet key performance indicators for categories, including compliance and monitoring of contracts in alignment with RB Global policies. Develop RFIs & RFPs, conduct in-depth analytics across multiple systems and from various divisions/countries. Provide category recommendations, counter-proposals, and negotiate to identify and deliver savings to the organization; maintain product quality standards and focus on reducing costs. Develop compliance monitoring programs to ensure implementation strategies are measurable and successful. Review and provide recommendations to the Vice President of Procurement and other senior leadership, in coordination with business stakeholders, developing best-in-class category strategies. Maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization including local, regional and corporate leadership; understand their unique needs and ensure category strategy addresses/meets their needs. Support and maintain Procurement policies and processes, including improving vendor payment terms, contract management, driving sustainability initiatives and managing vendors. Draft and review contracts with vendors including SOWs, MSAs and addendums. Cross-functionally operate with legal, finance and operations to ensure policies and best practices are followed. Identify and drive continuous improvement processes and reporting. Establish strong relationships with vendors, facilitate communication, and work to ensure products or services provided meet company requirements. Lead the evaluation of suppliers and work to reduce vendor risk by developing scorecards and analyzing vendor performance. Key Performance Indicators: Ability to work independently and be proactive operating successfully across multiple groups and levels in the organization. Experience managing indirect procurement categories and utilizing a strategic sourcing process. Expert level financial and analytical skills, naturally seeks to leverage market data, supply chain improvements and cost modeling scenarios. Strong project management skills and experience meeting timelines and managing various stakeholders at one time. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, Finance, Operations or related field preferred. Makes decisions with integrity that align with the organization’s code of conduct and financial best interests. Sourcing ability to locate vendors and have expertise in the Information Technology categories. Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent administrative and project management skills. Excellent written and communication skills. Indirect strategic sourcing experience required. Preferred Skills: Five years of full-time experience in vendor negotiations, company expense analysis and strategic sourcing activities for an organization (public or private). Experience with procurement and vendor management systems, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Spend Analytics.
