Primary Responsibilities: Design and develop software applications and application components in an agile environment Create high-quality software by conducting peer design/code reviews and developing automated test cases Work with geographically distributed teams, with ample opportunity to learn from and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment Play a key role in the future of software products by working closely with product management and other stakeholders to aid solution development Provide support for Service Availability, Stability and application performance Manage and be accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives that may arise due to the changing business environment. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 12+ years of relevant software development experience Experience developing Microservices in Java using Spring framework/Spring Boot Experience in deploying applications to AWS or Azure cloud platforms and leveraging managed services on the cloud Experience with front-end technologies like Angular and ReactJS, Node JS Experience with Microservices Experience in providing technical guidance and inculcating engineering best practices within development teams Solid experience developing web applications on the Java platform (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services) Must have worked on CI/CD tools - Jenkins, Git/GitHub/Subversion or any code versioning tool, Gradle, and any of the AWS cloud platform, Java, NodeJs Proven sound fundamentals of Core Java and technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
