We are looking for a
Plant Controller
to work for our Virginia client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Responsibilities Analyze plant capital budgets to ensure consistency with capital policy and achievement of financial results Analyze financial and statistical reports that reflect plant financial position and KPI’s, perform cost and operating variance analyses to identify root causes in variances, and partner with other managers to identify areas for improvement Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast/planning exercises between the plant and Corporate support to assess, detect and adjust to financial trends Identify opportunities for business improvements leading to improved capital/inventory management, higher revenue, increased efficiencies, cost savings Prepare and present cost center forecasts, monthly review of actual to forecast and plan, and drive the annual budget process for that location Define strategies to achieve the financial goals of the factories, identify leading and lagging key performance indicators Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years of accounting experience Experience working for a global manufacturing company Strong technical accounting and analytical skills with an emphasis on cost/inventory accounting Must be able to analyze financial statements and manufacturing variances Ability to translate financial information to a non-financial audience
