We are the largest social services provider in our region, serving Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties. Our Finance Director position serves as the agency Chief Financial Officer and reports directly to the Executive Director. The position is responsible for all agency financial/accounting operations and assures compliance with governmental accounting auditing standards, Oregon Budget Law, and rules regarding contracts and grants received and/or administered by the agency. This position also supervises a Finance Department and provides counsel and guidance to the agency on compliance and financial matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of governmental or grant accounting and at least five years of progressively responsible accounting or business management experience.
Successful applicants will have excellent written and oral communication skills for a variety of audience, professional level computer and data analytic skills, and a genuine passion for helping our neighbors in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties. Full Time Exempt position. Regular work days 8-5, M-F. Excellent employee benefits;

Minimum Requirements Bachelor degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent, plus at least five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or business management with an emphasis in governmental or grant accounting. A thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices including, but not limited to: Journal Entries Reconciliation Payroll & Payroll Reporting Auditing Budgeting Grant Monitoring Accounts Payable Strategic Planning Stakeholder Interest Compliance Monitoring Conflict of Interest Fraud Detection
