Harmonia is currently looking for a Network Administrator. The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's computer networks. They ensure the stability, security, and performance of network infrastructure to support business operations. This role requires a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI. While a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, equivalent experience is also considered. While certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network architecture meets organizational requirements and industry standards. Network Security: Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access. Configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality. Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance and traffic patterns to identify and address bottlenecks, latency issues, and other performance issues. Optimize network settings and configurations for maximum efficiency. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to end-users and IT teams for network-related issues. Troubleshoot connectivity problems, DNS issues, and other network-related problems to minimize downtime. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and capacity planning. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure network equipment, software, and services. Evaluate vendor proposals and solutions to ensure they meet organizational requirements. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end-users on network-related topics and best practices. Share knowledge and expertise to build a strong network infrastructure team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in network administration or a related role. Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices. Experience with network monitoring tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds). Familiarity with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
