Job Title: Associate Scientist – CRISPR & Gene Editing (Screening and Genotyping) Location: Tarrytown, NY Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Type: Contract Overview: Join an exciting research team in Tarrytown, NY, and support our target discovery pipeline using CRISPR technology. As an Associate Scientist, you will design and optimize cell-based screening assays, perform CRISPR screens, and validate genetic targets to advance genetic research. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge molecular and cell biology techniques in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CRISPR-based screens using genome-wide and targeted gRNA libraries. Work with mammalian cell lines and primary cells for gene editing. Perform flow cytometry, FACS, and immunofluorescence experiments. Validate CRISPR gene editing at the RNA, protein, and functional levels. Analyze data, generate plots, and present findings. Maintain accurate electronic lab records. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Cell Biology. 2-3+ years of laboratory experience with tissue culture and cell engineering. Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 technology, gene editing, and CRISPR screens. Proficiency in flow cytometry, FACS, and data analysis. Strong communication skills for team collaboration. Why Join Us?
