Job Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in PAINESVILLE, Ohio. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be playing a crucial role in a fuel company, handling a variety of financial tasks, including processing non-fuel invoices, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. This is an in-office position where you will be working closely with the CFO and assisting with phone calls.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the processing of 50-100 non-fuel invoices on a daily basis
• Create invoices from sales tickets
• Cut checks as part of the accounts payable process
• Code transactions to the General Ledger
• Process and reconcile customer credit applications
• Assist with incoming phone calls in a small office setting
• Monitor and maintain accurate customer accounts
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role is required
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Ability to handle Billing tasks efficiently
• Strong Data Entry skills are required
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing is a must
