We are looking for an AP Manager/Supervisor to join our team located in Sarasota, FL. This role involves managing accounts payable for multiple entities and supervising a team of two. This is an on-site position in the dental industry, providing shared services to approximately 23 locations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable activities for multiple entities to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise a team of two, ensuring they adhere to the standard operating procedures
• Review accounts payable on a daily and weekly basis, and take appropriate action when required
• Work with dental practices and their vendors, processing approximately 60% manual transactions
• Use Sage Intacct and other accounting software systems to manage financial data
• Handle account coding and accrual accounting tasks, ensuring all accounting functions are carried out correctly
• Process automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and manage data processing activities
• Work with Concur and other tools to streamline accounting processes
• Conduct regular auditing to maintain the accuracy of financial records.• Proficiency in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately categorize financial transactions.
• Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating the ability to streamline accounting processes.
• Knowledge of Concur, showcasing the capacity to manage business expenses and invoices effectively.
• Skilled in Data Processing, displaying the ability to handle, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data.
• Proficiency in a range of Accounting Functions, demonstrating a broad understanding of the financial operations within a business.
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), showcasing the ability to manage and reconcile outgoing payments efficiently.
• Familiarity with Accrual Accounting, demonstrating an understanding of recognizing economic events regardless of when cash transactions occur.
• Auditing skills, showcasing the ability to review accounts and financial statements for accuracy and legality.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, demonstrating an understanding of electronic money transfer systems.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct, showcasing the ability to manage financial operations and accounting tasks.
• Experience handling Multiple Entities, demonstrating the ability to manage the accounts of various organizations concurrently.
